Biography

As the Fabrication Shop Technical Support Specialist at ACE, Colin oversees machining and fabrication work that directly supports client testing projects. His responsibilities include supervising daily shop operations, maintaining advanced fabrication equipment, and working closely with engineers and clients to design and deliver custom-built solutions. From precision fixtures to complex prototypes, Colin ensures that every project is executed with accuracy, efficiency, and a strong focus on client needs.

Colin brings over 15 years of hands-on experience in machining, fabrication, and tool making. Before joining ACE, he built his career as a journeyman mould maker (431A), where he specialized in precision tooling and automation. He also earned a diploma in Mechanical Technology – Precision Skills, further strengthening his technical foundation.

With his combination of deep technical expertise, practical problem-solving, and client-focused service, Colin plays a vital role in ensuring ACE’s fabrication shop remains a cornerstone of the facility’s testing and development services, transforming client concepts into reality with precision and care.
