Biography

As a Research and Development Engineer, Izzy specializes in system design, data science, and test automation. Her work is focused on enhancing the customer experience by improving the repeatability, consistency, and efficiency of the testing process.

During her undergraduate studies, Izzy worked at ACE as Engineering and Operations Support, where she gained first-hand experience in wind tunnel testing and facility operations. During this time, she also contributed to the design and development of Project Arrow, the first all-Canadian electric vehicle, which was built at ACE. After completing her degree, Izzy joined Caterpillar Inc. as an Automation Engineer, where she contributed to the development of autonomous mining machinery and advanced safety and navigation systems.

Izzy holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics and a Master of Applied Science in Mechanical Engineering from Ontario Tech University. She is also a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), blending her technical expertise with strong leadership and project execution skills.
