Biography

Kyle is a Research and Development (R&D) Engineer at ACE, specializing in advanced testing systems, large-scale facility development and experimental infrastructure design. His work focuses on expanding ACE’s technical capabilities through the design, integration and improvement of complex testing systems such as the Moving Ground Plane (MGP). 

In his role, Kyle: 

  • Leads and supports the development and enhancement of large-scale testing systems and facility infrastructure.  
  • Designs, integrates and optimizes advanced experimental systems to support client testing needs.  
  • Collaborates with internal engineering teams and external partners to deliver high-performance and reliable testing environments.  
  • Applies hands-on electrical and mechanical expertise to troubleshoot, refine and improve system performance.  
  • Contributes to the planning and execution of innovative R&D projects that expand ACE’s capabilities.  
  • Supports the transition of concepts into fully functional, operational testing systems.  

Kyle brings over 30 years of experience as a Red Seal Electrician, with a strong background in industrial, commercial and residential electrical systems. This extensive hands-on experience provides a practical foundation for his engineering work and system-level problem solving. 

He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Mechatronics from Ontario Tech University. His combination of skilled trades experience and engineering education allows him to bring both practical insight and technical rigor to ACE’s advanced testing and research initiatives.
