Human performance research

The human body is an extremely complex physiological machine that involves a myriad of systems working together to elicit movement. To optimize performance, we must understand the basics of these systems and how their intricate, co-ordinated communication processes occur. Human performance covers a wide range of disciplines including athletic and occupational areas, with emphasis on improving movement as well as reducing injuries. The more information and understanding we have of the human body, the better the training recommendations we can develop to optimize human physiological potential.
